Very well known Madonna, will be visiting Sri Lanka on 17th May 2008 and will be taking part in the ‘Concert of Peace’ organized with several other local artists in Sri Lanka. Madonna is currently on the top 100 Billboard Chart with her newest single “4 Minutes” featuring Justin Timberlake for the 53rd time in her career.



The Grammy award winning singer and the song scripter Madonna’s visit to Sri Lanka is not only for the concert but also they will be delivering a Peace message to the LTTE Leaders ruling Kilinochchi as a sparrow of peace.

“We have been given clearance to visit the Wanni with Madonna on humanitarian grounds” said organizers.

The ‘Peace Concert’ will take place with some unforgettable features like 120 piece backup band, laser lights and a fireworks display and many more.

Tickets will be available from mid April. Organizers added: ‘the ticket details and venues will be release soon for the public without any delay’.
