Hindu students mark Royal's anniversary
The Hindu students of Royal College, Colombo has organised a mega religious event to mark the college's 175th year anniversary.
A special religious ceremony will take place at the Sri Manicka Vinayagar temple, Bambalapitiya at 5.30 a.m. on Thursday where Principal Upali Gunasekera along with other staff members of the college will participate. Following the religious ceremonies a procession with the participation of Royal students, Old Boys and parents will start from the temple premises towards the college. Nathaswaram music and various other dances depicting the Tamil culture will also take place.
